Glenn and Michelle Feast are looking forward to summer days at the beach with their children, now that they have left Sydney’s suburbs behind and joined the Kooindah Waters community.
“Moving here was a big decision, but from the moment we walked into our new home it felt right, from that very first day,” Glenn said.
“We had lived near Penrith for ten years and had outgrown our old home. We considered knock down re-build and buying a new house in the area, and had visited residential golf resorts in western Sydney. But all the time the Central Coast was in the back of our minds,” he said.
The family has spent many happy holidays enjoying the attractions of the Central Coast since Michelle’s parents moved to the banks of the Wyong River several years ago.
A home office was a pre-requisite in their new home as Glenn works as a Sales Representative for a company based in Melbourne.
“Over a year ago we visited the Display Homes at Kooindah Waters. The Oakmont offered everything we were looking for in a home, with the added benefit of resort facilities and a golf course. From what we had seen in Sydney, Kooindah Waters offered excellent value for money,” Glenn said.
“We watched the golf course take shape, the swimming pool and playgrounds being built and finally just said, ‘let’s do it’,” he said.
The Feast’s children, Madison, 9 and Blake, 6 started at the nearby Wadalba Community School and have adjusted well.
“Kooindah Waters is great for all the family. We have the option of playing a few holes of golf after work, and Madison and Blake can enjoy the swimming pools, playgrounds and ride their bikes in a safe environment. That makes us all happy,” he said.
